Ricky Garvey – Music Production, Mixing, Mastering

Anyone that knows me knows my love for movies. And when a certain movie like Safety Not Guaranteed has a certain scene with a beautiful song such as the one below, well it all just seems to fall in place for me. This performance of Ryan Miller‘s (Guster) song “Big Machine” by Mark Duplass is haunting. Mark Duplass is known for his low-budget films (as well as his recurring role in The League) where he usually illustrates his love for up-and-coming artists. The Puffy Chair was the perfect example of this as well as his more recent projects such as The Do-Deca-Pentathlon and Jeff Who Lives at Home.

If that doesn’t haunt your dreams at night, I don’t know what will. If that doesn’t make you want to pick up a guitar and write immediately, then I don’t know what will. If that doesn’t make you want to go to Ebay and search for a Zither, then maybe that’s just me.
